Liv began her career representing clients in antitrust, securities and consumer fraud class actions before choosing to focus her practice on the financial services sector. What began as a search for specialization quickly became a passion for defending financial institutions in the consumer finance arena.

Today, Liv has extensive experience representing banks, fintechs, and other institutional clients against the panoply of consumer statutory claims, such as the EFTA, FCRA, FCBA, CROA, FDCPA, and related state laws.

Clients appreciate Liv’s mix of litigation experience, strategic thinking, and genuine curiosity about how financial products and systems work. She enjoys helping clients navigate operational, regulatory, and litigation challenges with practical, business-focused solutions.

Having grown up in Denver, it’s no surprise Liv is a huge Nuggets fan and Winter Park regular; but as a Chicago transplant, she now spends her weekends sampling new restaurants and exploring local bookstores with her husband and their dog. Outside the office, she’s an avid kickball player, world traveler, and reality TV enthusiast.

She’s inspired by her parents and the words of Hunter S. Thompson: “Anything worth doing is worth doing well.”
