Alan has been representing the consumer financial services industry in courts and arbitrations across the country for nearly a decade. He regularly represents clients in complex matters involving consumer protection, data privacy, and commercial disputes. He is a frequent presenter at legal and financial services conferences on emerging legal issues and litigation trends and has authored several articles that have appeared in legal publications regarding consumer class actions, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and Article III standing.

Born in Texas, Alan has lived in Colorado, Iowa, Illinois and California. He spent his formative years in a town called Sandwich, where he cultivated a love of music and sports. He taught himself guitar at a young age, and since then has played with several bands (including shows at the legendary Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood), attended hundreds of concerts, and developed a small obsession with guitars and amplifiers.
